Hometown Holidays - December 5, 2015

Celebrate the start of the holidays season with us!

Hometown Holidays is Spring Hill's annual Christmas festival, held the first Saturday in December. Recently, Hometown Holidays moved from the Spring Hill Civic Center to our historic one-block downtown. This year's event will be held December 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The evening begins with caroling and the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas Tree next to the Spring Hill Police Station.

Once the tree is lit, Santa and Mrs. Claus are delivered to the event by Johnson County Fire District No. 2 and spend their evening taking free photos with children.

Our Main Street businesses open their doors for the event to host crafts, games, giveaways, and entertainment provided by local clubs and organizations. This event is free to the public, but attendees are encouraged to consider donating to the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund!

Sponsors and event details about this year's Hometown Holidays will be announced soon. For more information, call (913) 592-3664 or reach out by email.
