Celebrate the start of the holiday season with us!
Hometown Holidays is Spring Hill's annual Christmas festival, held the first Saturday in December. For many years, this fun, free event has treated families to pictures with Santa, holiday-themed crafts, treats, activities, and entertainment hosted by local organizations.
The evening begins with caroling and the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas Tree. Once the tree is lit, Santa and Mrs. Claus are delivered to the event by Johnson County Fire District No. 2 and spend their evening taking free photos with children. Families then enjoy making crafts, playing holiday-themed games and participating in fun activities provided by the City of Spring Hill and local businesses and organizations.
Hometown Holidays 2016 will be held at the Spring Hill Civic Center, 401 N. Madison, from 5 to 8 p.m. Planned activities include pictures with Santa, a candy cane hunt sponsored by the Spring Hill Recreation Commission, and a Christmas carnival. A hearty soup dinner and raffle of great prizes will benefit the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund.

You are welcome to bring information about group or the services you provide, but please keep in mind that this is not a business expo. Business and organizations must provide a holiday-themed giveaway, craft, game or activity to participate.
