Automatic Payment Withdrawal

Spring Hill residents now have the ability to have their payments automatically withdrawn from their bank accounts each month. This is a free service available to our residents for their convenience.

Funds will be withdrawn from your account on the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a holiday or a weekend, your account will be debited the business day prior to the holiday or weekend.

You will continue to receive a paper statement or e-statement after you sign up for automatic payment withdrawal. When you sign up to pay tour utility bill with automatic withdrawal, you are not giving the City of Spring Hill any control over your account. You are simply authorizing the payment to be made each month to the City of Spring Hill.

To sign up for one or both of these opportunities, submit this form to P.O. Box 424, Spring Hill, KS 66083 or drop it off at City Hall to begin service.

Making changes to your account

Any changes that need to be made to your account must be requested by the 5th of the month to reflect the current billing cycle.

Before you change banks, please call the Utility Billing Clerk's direct line (913) 592-3626. You will then need to complete and sign a new enrollment form and attach a voided check from your new account. Please keep in mind that this change must be made by the 5th of the month to reflect the current billing cycle.

The City of Spring Hill must be notified in writing before the 5th of the month cancel this service.

Insufficient funds
In addition to your bank overdraft charge, the City of Spring Hill charges $30 for an insufficient funds notice on your account. If your utility account accrues more than two insufficient funds notices in a 12-month period, you will be removed from the automatic withdrawal program and your account may only be paid with cash or money order.
